And thus, the worst season in noitaminA history has finally come to an end. I highly doubt that Apollon and Tsuritama will be bad. But if they somehow manage to screw up that much, the sequel to Moyashimon and Natsuyuki Rendezvous in the summer will definitely be awesome.
Ozuma 01 – Old school
All I could think of was Star Wars.
Maya is the initial damsel impression of Leia. The Captain is the actual awesome Leia. Sam is Luke, and we’ve even got an imposing masked man as a villain. It takes place in a freaking desert! All we need is some glowing swords.
- An entirely Engrish opening? It wasn’t bad, both the Engrish and the song.
- The ending was pretty but unmemorable.
- All of the women’s heads seem rather big in comparison to their bodies.
Final thoughts
- I’m not impressed. And it only has five more episodes to do so.
Spring 2012 Picks
Aside from the two awesome looking noitaminA shows, the thing that immediately stuck me about this season is the amount of super deformed and animal anime that are debuting.
