I stopped doing seasonal awards because of my tendency to go back and marathon stuff. So I’m just going to do all the awards in one go at the end of the year from now on.

March 2012 Rankings
And thus, the worst season in noitaminA history has finally come to an end. I highly doubt that Apollon and Tsuritama will be bad. But if they somehow manage to screw up that much, the sequel to Moyashimon and Natsuyuki Rendezvous in the summer will definitely be awesome.
Hits and Misses
There are many things in the world of anime that you either like or hate. So I thought I’d share some of mine.
January 2012 Rankings
Unsurprisingly, a couple of the longer running shows changed their opening and ending visuals and songs. While I’m pretty much unimpressed by all of them, I’d like to mention something about Mirai Nikki’s new opening sequence. Aside from the obvious color switch from red to blue, and that the people are the only ones in color now (opposed to the red background), did anyone else notice that besides Yuno, Minene is the only one who isn’t blue? Just a thought.
Nisemonogatari 01 – Words, words, words
Remember kids, this is a SHAFT sequel.
And it better be a good one, dammit.
