Arrived back at college last week, so now I’m back to actually doing something with my life. Not that I have a problem with that because I’m in my school’s production of Cabaret! I’m ecstatic! Which is the exact opposite of how I feel about this current anime season.
Even though I’m not the biggest fan of this series, I will admit that I did miss the main cast. They were what I enjoyed most about the first season. I’m a little annoyed with another love triangle subplot emerging right at the start, but oh well.
Both OP and ED were nice, but I still prefer the first season’s OP theme.
- What I want: not a lot of focus on this new love triangle. Or for it to at least dissipate by the second half.
- What I’m expecting: rabu dorama
And thus, the worst season in noitaminA history has finally come to an end. I highly doubt that Apollon and Tsuritama will be bad. But if they somehow manage to screw up that much, the sequel to Moyashimon and Natsuyuki Rendezvous in the summer will definitely be awesome.
Unsurprisingly, a couple of the longer running shows changed their opening and ending visuals and songs. While I’m pretty much unimpressed by all of them, I’d like to mention something about Mirai Nikki’s new opening sequence. Aside from the obvious color switch from red to blue, and that the people are the only ones in color now (opposed to the red background), did anyone else notice that besides Yuno, Minene is the only one who isn’t blue? Just a thought.
